Capital ready for Olympic evaluation

Beijing is ready to welcome the International Olympic Committee's evaluation commission to inspect its bid plan and venue proposals for the 2022 Winter Olympics. Beijing is bidding to host the Games jointly with Zhangjiakou in Hebei province, and the commission will visit the cities this week. The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games Bid Committee said that the commission will be given detailed proposals. Wang Hui, the committee's deputy secretary-general, said Beijing's plan to present an "athlete-centered, sustainable and economical" event is perfectly aligned with the principles of the Olympic Agenda 2020.
