Defense ties to remain 'intensive', says Israeli official after Obama's call to Netanyahu
Amid new tensions between two allies, President Barack Obama on Thursday told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the US is reassessing its approach to Israeli-Palestinian peace.
His remarks were made in light of Netanyahu's pre-election comments rejecting the establishment of a Palestinian state.
