When I first heard the slogan "Sitting is the new smoking and it's time to quit", one of my long-held beliefs was shaken.

Since my first trip abroad in my teenage years, I've loved to see the men who sit. I don't know exactly what they do; these are not security guards in uniforms, just ordinary (usually older) men who have a well-worn office chair, or a sofa, or a wooden dining chair on the pavement outside an office, or a walled house, or an empty building.
