Strong voices for interests of consumers
SUNDAY WAS the International Consumer Rights Day, and Premier Li Keqiang called on all online and offline stores to protect the rights and interests of consumers. Later the same day, an annual live show broadcast by China Central Television unveiled a number of consumer rights violations by companies. Comments:
Protecting consumers' rights and interests is not only about buyers and sellers, but also about the responsibility of law enforcement. The root cause of complaints against online shopping in China is the lack of integrity among many virtual sellers. The most efficient way to enhance self-discipline of online businesses, therefore, is to establish a market-oriented honesty mechanism.
