DMG sees big gains from Valiant deal

By Amy He In New York | China Daily | Updated: 2015-03-11 08:07

DMG Entertainment's new partnership with United States-based comic book publisher Valiant Entertainment is a global marketing bonanza for the Beijing-based company, its chief executive officer said.

"Global markets, like China, offer the greatest opportunities for monetization from merchandising, licensing, as well as revenues from film and television properties," Dan Mintz said in a statement.

DMG, co-producer of the 2013 blockbuster movie Iron Man 3, said on Monday that it is investing a nine-figure sum in the production of film and television programs based on Valiant's library of superhero characters.
