Hebei official faces inquiry

Jing Chunhua, a standing member of the Hebei Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, is under investigation on suspicion of serious violations of Party discipline and law, the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection announced on Tuesday. Jing, 59 years old, is also secretary-general of the Hebei CPC Provincial Committee. He served in various positions in Hebei province, including mayor of Chengde and Party chief of Hengshui.
