Lyu Xinhua, spokesman for the CPPCC, took media questions at a news conference on Monday. Highlights:

Combating terrorism: China named the East Turkistan Islamic Movement as the major target when seeking international cooperation against terrorism last year. China regards its neighbors in South Asia, Central Asia and Southeast Asia as its key partners in the global fight against terrorism.

Taiwan: In 2015, the Chinese mainland will continue to pursue a policy of constructive cross-Straits relations, consolidate mutual trust, deepen economic cooperation and strengthen personnel exchanges.
