Chongqing issues spending details

Chongqing's municipal government has published an overview of the corporate social responsibility activities undertaken by its State-owned enterprises last year. The organizations donated 81 billion yuan ($12.9 billion) toward large-scale infrastructure projects in the municipality, including the construction of 88 km of new highways and 30 km of new railways, the upgrading of water supply systems to 210,000 households, and the construction of 453,000 sq m of housing for low-income residents. In addition, financial enterprises approved 150 billion yuan's worth of agricultural related loans and 130 billion yuan of small and micro business loans.
