Fish bone removal delayed by festival

A man surnamed Ye from Fushun county, Sichuan province, had to wait a day for treatment when a fish bone became stuck in his throat on Feb 19. The 58-year-old could not get emergency treatment because hospitals had stopped the gastroscopy service during Spring Festival. He was finally treated the next day at a provincial hospital where doctors removed the fish bone.
