Doctors protest mandatory test

Doctors and medical staff in Albania held a nationwide protest on Monday against a mandatory test. Over 8,000 physicians, nurses and medical laboratory technicians have signed a petition demanding the test be canceled, Albanian Daily News reported. The test, said the protesters, is illegal and seriously violates their dignity and causes psychological pressure. They also demanded the resignation of Health Minister Ilir Beqaj.
