The Paris Opera house has unveiled its lineup for its new season, offering cut-price tickets to young fans as it seeks to attract a new generation of opera buffs.
New director Stephane Lissner, formerly head of La Scala in Milan, will offer 18 new productions for the 2015/2016 season and re-run 14 others, despite budgetary constraints.
"Faced with a crisis, you have to go on the attack and produce more," says Lissner.
