Maritime Silk Road gets boost from dance

Artistic production seen as way of educating world about a friendly, cooperative China

Performance artists are spreading the word about China's Maritime Silk Road at the United Nations headquarters in New York City through a dramatic dance production.

"I thought the story was very powerful. It was about family, love, adventure, friendship and inheritance," Maria Kucinski said after watching Dream of the Maritime Silk Road, a dramatic story told through traditional Chinese dance.
