Foreigner may have been in gunbattle

A foreigner was allegedly among the fatalities in the recent gunbattle that killed 49 police officers and 18 Muslim militants in Mamasapano, Maguindanao, a Muslim group said on Sunday. Amirah Ali Lidasan, national spokesperson for Suara Bangsamoro, said on Sunday that the group was able to talk with a witness, a 40-year old farmer, who claimed seeing the body of a blue-eyed foreigner lying on the ground minutes after the gunbattle.
