Pooch alert: As if Serena Williams didn't have enough on her plate trying to win a 19th Grand Slam and defend her world No 1 ranking, she is now also worrying about a lost dog. The American top seed took to Twitter after an Australian friend's pooch went missing.

"My best Australian buddy lost his dog yesterday. All my Melbourne followers have u seen her? Help! ...," she tweeted.

She then posted a picture and gave more details. "In prahran Melbourne. Near orrong road. Missing cutie girl named Jax."
