Plan launched for recycling industry

Five government authorities, including the Ministry of Commerce and the National Development and Reform Commission, jointly issued a medium- and long-term plan for the development of the country's recycling industry on Monday. The plan encourages domestic and foreign investors to take part in the sector, both in the sorting and recycling processes. It also supports the creation of franchise operations to integrate more small, medium-sized, and individual businesses into the sector.
