Official expelled from CPC

Lyu Zaimo, a member of the standing committee of the Shandong People's Congress, was removed from his post and expelled from the Party on Sunday following allegations of corruption. According to the provincial discipline inspection department, Lyu accepted bribes and embezzled public funds. Lyu's behavior is a serious violation of regulations and laws, the watchdog said. His case has been transferred to judicial organs.
