Offshore ocean racing gaining profile in China

Cheng Ying-kit always dreamed of racing across distant oceans as a professional offshore sailor, despite limited access to the sport in China.

"The pursuit of a dream is a dream in itself for most. We all have dreams, no matter how unattainable they may seem. The reality is, chasing a dream often means making sacrifices - but if and when you succeed, it also means recognition," said Cheng, who hails from Hong Kong.
