Activists from the Republic of Korea launched anti-Pyongyang leaflets on Monday night, ignoring calls for restraint.
Those activists against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea said on Tuesday that they floated about 100,000 leaflets via five balloons across the demilitarized zone from Paju, about 40 kilometers northwest of the capital Seoul.
Copies of The Interview, a movie about a fictional plot to assassinate DPRK top leader Kim Jong-un, were not included in the balloons but the group has threatened to disperse the film in January.
