US legislators don't meet Castro

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez told a group of US senators and congressmen on Monday that his country is open to greater diplomatic and trade ties, but the congressional delegation did not meet with Cuban President Raul Castro. The US delegation was led by Senator Patrick Leahy, who met Castro on past trips to Cuba but did not do so again on Monday, two days before US Assistant Secretary of State Roberta Jacobson is set to arrive in Havana to negotiate the reopening of the US embassy.
