'Doctors also have their own lives and families'

By Jin Limin | China Daily | Updated: 2015-01-20 07:53

Jin Limin is a 33-year-old pediatrician at Beijing United Family Hospital.

I left Capital Institute of Pediatrics Children's Hospital after working there for nine years because I wanted to have a life of my own outside work, and I wanted to be a doctor in the truest sense.

I saw a large number of patients every day at my old hospital; they came from all over the country. The hospital provided a good environment for young doctors like me to grow, because we learned a lot working with all the experts there, and there were lots of patients, many with complex illnesses, so I had plenty of opportunities to practice and hone my skills.
