Officer fires shots during attack
A policeman fired three warning shots after he was attacked by six men on a street in Dongguan. The six, from Yunnan province, had beaten up two strangers after drinking heavily, and were arrested by other officers who were called to the scene. They were jailed for up to a year and seven months by a court in Dongguan on Monday.
