TV couple suspected in corruption

A producer at state broadcaster CCTV has been held for investigation after her husband was investigated two weeks ago. The couple are suspected of being involved in a senior Party official's corruption case.

Luo Fanghua, 46, a producer at the China Central Television's financial channel, is a member of Ling Jihua's extended family.

Luo's husband, Gu Yuanxu, who also once worked at CCTV, is the brother-in-law of Ling and was removed from his post as deputy public security chief of northeast China's Heilongjiang province shortly after Ling's fall from grace.
