Senior tourism official being probed

Huo Ke, deputy director of the China National Tourism Administration, has been placed under investigation for suspected violation of discipline and laws, the top discipline watchdog said on Friday. Huo was promoted to the position only a month ago from the secretarial bureau of the General Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.
