Mom, dad donate kidneys to children

A brother and sister who developed the kidney disorder uremia are being given a new lease on life by their parents. LiKai, a teenager from Chengde, Hebei province, was diagnosed with the condition in 2009, and his elder sister, Li Min, was found to have it in 2012. Their mother, Duan Shuhua, donated a kidney to LiKai in an operation performed at Beijing Armed Police General Hospital, and their father, Li Qingzhong, plans to act as a kidney donor for LiMin.
