Ohio State romps to first CFP national championship

Ohio State can add the newest version of the national championship trophy to a case that already has a bunch of the old ones.

Cardale Jones, the Buckeyes' third-string quarterback, outplayed Oregon's Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota to lead Ohio State to a 42-20 rout of the Ducks in the first College Football Playoff national championship game on Monday night at AT&T Stadium.
