By Zheng Caixiong in Guangzhou | China Daily | Updated: 2015-01-09 09:54

The Foshan City Committee of Communist Party of China in Guangdong province recently approved the resignation of Wang Xue, Party chief of the city's Shishan township.

Wang, 46, born in Hengyang, Hunan province, tendered his resignation last September for health reasons, but insiders said Wang would be employed as a senior company executive.

"I will take a rest for a period of time and, at the same time, map out my future career plan," Wang told local media after he resigned.
