Council revamps approval protocols

The State Council specified requirements for departments involved in administrative approvals at its executive meeting on Wednesday.

The measures aim to boost the government's credibility and executive ability, according to a statement released after the meeting, which Premier Li Keqiang presided over.

Each department must designate a single location to receive applications for government approvals and draw up a service guide for the public and businesses.
