Dali official faces graft inquiry

Chu Zhongzhi, Party chief of Dali, a tourism destination in Yunnan province, is facing investigation for "serious violations to Party disciplines", the provincial anti-corruption agency said. Chu, 47, who has a doctor's degree in economics, had worked in land resources departments in the province for nearly 15 years before becoming Dali's Party chief in 2013.
