Wonderland of ice and snow
The 31th Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival starts today in Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang province. The month-long, citywide festival boasts 21 public squares and 32 streets decorated with ice and snow sculptures. The show is one of four world-famous winter events, which include the Sapporo Snow Festival in Japan, Quebec Winter Carnival in Canada and Holmenkollen Ski Festival in Oslo.
