Official probed after being held for gambling
A deputy district director of Dachuan district in Dazhou was being investigated by the local anti-graft watchdog on Monday on suspicion of serious discipline violations, Beijing News reported. Liu Tingyu, 38, was detained by local police for gambling on Dec 26.
