Soreness keeps Kobe sidelined
Kobe Bryant sat out his second straight game to rest his sore body, missing the Los Angeles Lakers' contest against the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night. Bryant also sat out on Tuesday when the Lakers beat the Golden State Warriors. The 36-year-old said his knees, Achilles tendons, feet and back are all sore. "I need to reset my body," he said, adding it was unlikely he will play on Friday night at Dallas. In his 19th NBA season, Bryant entered Thursday in third place in league scoring, averaging 24.6 points per game. He passed Michael Jordan for third place on the all-time scoring list on Dec 14 at Minnesota.
