269,000 WORKPLACE ACCIDENTS were recorded in the first 11 months of this year, down 4.7 percent from the same period last year, said Yang Dongliang, director of the State Administration of Work Safety, at a session of the national legislature on Tuesday. Fatalities dropped by 6.1 percent to 57,000, Yang said.
