Bus stop signs to change this week

Transport authorities will replace 40,234 bus stop sign boards in Beijing before Sunday, when a new fare policy takes effect, Beijing News reported on Tuesday. New boards have already been installed at some bus stops and are marked with new fare prices, according to the report. Travelers can refer to numbers on the sign boards to estimate travel distances and corresponding fares. Meanwhile, subway sign plates have also been replaced.
