Internet finance alliance set up

The Internet Finance CSR Self-discipline Alliance has been launched with a summit in Beijing, attended by leading representatives from government, the banking industry, universities and related associations. Participants discussed issues such as the regulation and self-discipline of Internet finance companies, according to a report on cnstock.com. Initiated by Xinhua News Agency's online portal Xinhuanet, the event coinsided with the launch of a white paper on Internet finance, scheduled to be released next year. To promote CSR in the Internet finance industry, 10 Internet finance organizations jointly launched the program, and the alliance.

Tencent lauded for initiatives
