A 5-year-old boy and his 7-year-old brother were recovering in an Australian hospital on Monday after they and their father survived in the wilderness for 10 days.
They had little food and faced weather conditions that ranged from stormy to scorching.
Their ordeal began on Dec 11 when the father, Steven Van Lonkhuyzen, took a wrong turn during a family road trip and his four-wheel-drive vehicle became bogged down in mud.
