With a history of more than 1,400 years, Yangshuo boasts more than 250 places of historical interest, as well as picturesque karst landscapes, green hills, clean waters, mysterious caves and beautiful stones.
The 1,428-square-kilometer area is south of Guilin in the northeast of Guangxi and has 310,000 residents and more than 20,000 hills.
Yangshuo's waterway, four expressways and two high-speed railways make it easily accessible from most major cities in South China.
