Chinese experts wary of Japanese election results

Concerns are growing in China that Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, fresh from an election triumph, may once again sabotage the fragile Sino-Japanese relationship, after he reiterated twice within 24 hours of victory his ambitions for re-interpreting the pacifist Constitution.
Abe's Liberal Democratic Party and Komeito, its junior coalition partner, won the House of Representatives election by a landslide on Sunday, claiming 325 seats.
This gave the ruling bloc a two-thirds majority in the 475-seat House sufficient power to override the upper house on major issues, including reinterpreting the Constitution.
