Protests urge lawmakers to take action

To Congress in the US capital, along Fifth Avenue in New York and in front of Boston's Statehouse-tens of thousands of protesters across the US marched to call attention to police killings of unarmed black men and urge lawmakers to take action.

Demonstrators chanted "I can't breathe!""Hands up, don't shoot!", waved signs reading "Black lives matter!" and staged "die-ins" on Saturday as they lay down across intersections.
