Madrid marches to Spanish record with 19th consecutive triumph

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti hailed his "extraordinary" players after they set a Spanish record with their 19th straight triumph on Tuesday, blanking Ludogorets 4-0 at home in Champions League Group B.

Real broke the record it jointly held with Barcelona, which won 18 consecutive matches in all competitions between October 2005 and January 2006.
