Former secretary also punished

Yu Gang, former deputy head of the general office of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the CPC Central Committee, also served as Zhou Yongkang's secretary, and probably committed adultery with a famous singer Ms T, according to an anonymous source, Phoenix Weekly reported on Sunday.

Ms T, once a Chinese folk singer, had lived illegally with Yu Gang for many years, according to the source. The singer was involved with many cases of violating laws and discipline, and of military corruption.

She is now serving a prison sentence.
