Aguero on city sideline

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini said it's impossible to know how long Sergio Aguero will be sidelined with a knee ligament injury after the star striker hobbled off in Saturday's 1-0 win over Everton.

The Argentina international, the Premier League's top scorer with 14 goals, limped off in the second minute after he jarred his knee stretching for the ball in a challenge against Muhamed Besic.

City's medical staff will assess Aguero to determine the extent of the injury and how long they expect the 26-year-old to be on the sideline.
