Message from the president

It is a great honor to again lead a senior government and business delegation to the People's Republic of China on a state visit.

South Africa and China have long and friendly fraternal relations that have been forged in the quest to ensure the lives of our people are improved and that our nations can play their part in the global community of nations.

To give greater emphasis to the strong strategic relations between our countries, 2014 is currently being celebrated as the year of South Africa in China, while 2015 will be celebrated as the year of China in South Africa.
