Lippi eyeing Brazilian talent

By Xinhua in Rio de Janeiro | China Daily | Updated: 2014-12-03 07:11

World Cup-winning coach Marcello Lippi is in Brazil on a scouting mission for China's Guangzhou Evergrande.

The 66-year-old resigned as Evergrande manager last month after guiding the club to four straight Chinese Super League titles. But he remains the team's director of soccer and has spent the past week observing players at several Brazilian clubs.

Among the players thought to be on Lippi's radar are Fluminense's Jean, Cicero, Henrique and Bruno.
