Wave of illegal broadcasts sweeps country, puts jets at risk

Unlicensed radio operators have become a major - and even dangerous - annoyance to city administrators and residents, Chinese media reported.

Residents in almost every major Chinese city have had their radio programs interrupted with medicine commercials, usually with obscene content, Xinhua News Agency reported.

Most of the commercials pretend to be conversations between some "medical or curatorial experts" and "medicine consumers", featuring the "supreme effects" of the products they try to promote.
