Guangzhou Award laureates announced

The five laureates of the second Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation (the Guangzhou Award) were announced on Friday evening.

The five winners were the "educational parks for all" program by Antioquia in Colombia, the "smart city" program by Bristol in the United Kingdom, the "transitional city program for an ever-evolving city" by Christchurch in New Zealand, the "municipal finance" program by Dakar in Senegal, and the "public bicycle sharing program" by Hangzhou of China.

Each of them won a prize of $20,000 for their excellence.
