300 tables of food
As many as 300 tables were served with food after a ceremony at a primary school in Qiao-touhe township, Lianyuan, Hunan province. The food, costing about 60,000 yuan ($9,780), was criticized as being extravagant and wasteful, costing twice as much as the ceremony itself, which was reported to be 30,000 yuan by china.com.cn.
