Framework to help companies

Enterprises in China need a legal framework to help them fulfill their corporate social responsibilities, said Chu Xuping, an official with the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, which is under the State Council. Chu said that SASAC will support Chinese enterprises in carrying out their social responsibilities in the face of new challenges and opportunities that arise during the nation's economic and social transition.
