Report shows that many parents prefer US, UK for kids even before college
Eighty percent of China's richest families send their children abroad to be educated, compared with 1 percent of Japan's richest families, according to research released by the Hurun Research Institute.
It is the highest percentage in the world. In France the number is less than 5 percent and in Germany less than 10 percent, said Rupert Hoogewerf, publisher of the report.
