Photo: Two runners wear Batman costumes at the Guangzhou International Marathon in Guangdong province on Sunday. More than 20,000 athletes from about 40 countries and regions took part in the annual event, being staged for the third year. Many runners donned cosplay outfits to add fun to the occasion.

Bilingual news: Ladies, if you want a man at your feet, wear high heels. French researcher Nicholas Gueguen found that men were much more likely to agree to fill in a survey questionnaire when stopped in the street by a woman in heels. And the higher the heels, the more willing they were. When the woman wore flats, just 25 of the 60 men took part. Heels of 5 cm made them more amenable, with 36 out of the 60 agreeing to answer the questions. But when the heels rose to 10 cm, the number of male volunteers rose to 49 out of 60.

Buzzword: Onesie refers to loose fitting casual jumpsuits for adults. The onesie is perfect for relaxing at home, but is also meant to be worn in public. This fashion trend seems to be catching on with celebrities, including Khloe Kardashian and Justin Bieber.
