Klitschko eyes a quartet

China Daily | Updated: 2014-11-21 07:28

Undisputed heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko of the Ukraine says he plans to become the first boxer in history to hold all four major world titles.

The 38-year-old produced an impressive display in the 17th defense of his crowns last Saturday with a fifth-round KO of International Boxing Federation mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev in Hamburg for his 63rd victory.

Of the top four titles - the IBF, World Boxing Association, World Boxing Council and World Boxing Organization - only the WBC crown, held by Canada's Bermane Stiverne, is missing from Klitschko's collection.
